June 15th Saturday Tomten Tour Immersion Experience
June 15, 2024 @ 10:15AM — 3:15PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
Tomten Farm and Sanctuary: 929 Court St Haverhill, NH 03765 Get Directions

Our June 15th Tomten Tour Immersion Experience was created just for you and will be the longest and most personalized tour we have ever offered. Together we will leave the world behind and spend FIVE magical hours embraced in peace, protection and possibility. You are invited to join us on Saturday, June 15th from 10:15 am - 3:15 pm.
As with all of our tours, we will get up close and personal with those who have been given the gift of life on this journey, hear their impactful stories and answer all your questions on who we are, what we do and how we do it. But, this tour will allow us to move at a more leisurely pace and we will walk, stop, sit, talk and interact as the Rescues see fit. Don’t worry, we will have a portapotty set up midway, a place to sit and water ready.
We are certain you will love every minute and end the tour inspired to do more, be more and give more to animals in need.
As always, advanced registration for all events is required, so please note the very important information in the details section below before registering for your Tomten Tour Immersion Experience or any other event.
Details:
Please read carefully, we have a few important details to share so everyone (humans and animals alike) can enjoy a wonderful day.
Our 10th Anniversary weekend is a celebration of YOU, the folks who have helped achieve this incredible milestone. Due to space limitations and animal welfare, tickets are limited to you and one guest per person. Should you have any questions or need to bring someone else, please reach out to us. We wish we could welcome everyone but with limited space and the welfare of the animals to keep in mind, we are doing our best to limit this to supporters and one guest each.
Gates open 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour for check-in (10:00). We begin promptly at our scheduled tour time, 10:15 am. Should you have already joined us for the Saturday Morning Mediation Walk, you are welcome to hang out and settle in - get a drink and relax at Wooliam’s Welcome Area, check out the bucket drawings and shop for swag while you wait. Of course, if you are staying for the June 15th Saturday Night Sit-Down, the same holds true. Bring your lunch and settle right in.
Our address is 929 Court Street, Haverhill, NH. Should you arrive early, please wait in your vehicles along the road until the gates open to allow parking at the big red barn.
It is going to be a fabulous day but remember to plan your schedule accordingly, this is a weekend of many events and over 100 guests. So everything can run smoothly, we regret that no early birds, late arrivals or unexpected drop-ins are allowed as it detracts from the experience of others. Please note that we do lock all gates once we have left sight of the barn and started the tour.
Don't forget to wear appropriate footwear for this walking tour (no flip-flops or sandals allowed) and bring an extra layer. We will be walking throughout the entire farm, sometimes on uneven terrain and the weather can shift quite a bit up here especially at this time of year. The average temperature in June runs between 53 and 73 so it could sway in any direction. We encourage everyone to be prepared for hot, cold or wind as our forecasts change by the minute.
Bring your passion for animals, your love of Tomten, your enthusiasm and lots of questions, as well as a signed Tomten release (simply copy and print from the confirmation email you'll receive after registration) and a photo id. We cannot admit anyone without a release and photo identification - no exceptions, so please don't forget.
We must remind participants that this is a guided, educational walking tour and not a trip to a petting zoo. Our rescues are invited to interact should they so choose, but we respect their decision to interact or not as we travel together throughout the entirety of Tomten Farm and Sanctuary.
Please note that depending on the questions we are presented with, we transparently discuss why we rescue and the fates our Rescues faced. While we love children, we kindly remind parents that tour content is designed with adults in mind. Should you wish to bring a child under the age of 10, we encourage you to reach out to chat first and ask that there is one adult per child at all times for supervision purposes. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to making sure this is the best tour possible for all, humans and animals alike.

On second thought, if five hours seems like a little too much, no worries, you can register for a traditional Tomten Tour instead. This up to 3-hour version is shorter and faster, yet still offers participants an opportunity to experience peace, protection and possibility.
Registration information for the June 16th Sunday Traditional Tomten Tour can be found right here.
We so look forward to welcoming you and thank you for your support and understanding as we do our best to ensure a fabulous time for all.
Thank you for being on our journey as together we make dreams come true for animals in need.
