Course Description: We all know how scary large animal emergencies are and how challenging it can be to help especially here in Northern New England. Whether you are a horse owner, a veterinarian, a first responder or, large animal caretaker, this one-day event is for you! Together we will spend a day learning the equine and large animal rescue techniques needed to help our animals no matter what situation might arise.

With a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on education, attendees will not only have the opportunity to arm themselves with knowledge, with the help of glides, lifts and an equine training mannequin, this course will allow participants to practice different rescue scenarios that could quite literally, save a life.

Looking forward to welcoming you to Tomten and sharing an incredible, education filled day with this much sought after guest. Be sure to watch for your registration reply email and remember to bring good cheer, open minds, questions, your release and photo id. See you there!
